For the 4th year in a row I am attending the National Media Market (right before CCUMC) with a bunch of independent films. There will also be another invaluable digital delivery discussion right before the market. I am also producing a “Marketing 101” panel discussion for NYWIFT to take place the evening of November 18. This event will help filmmakers understand what they need to have/be ready with/know while shooting their films what so that when principal photography is over they can get their work out. So far panelists include representatives from Magnolia Pictures, Focus Features, and Lorber Digital!

I have been told that my last short – Loose Ends – will be playing with the NYWIFT/Cinewomen screening series in November, but we do not have an exact date yet. Will send alerts when I know more.
Alice Elliott’s Body & Soul: Diana & Kathy is airing nationally on PBS throughout the month of October for National Disability Awareness Month. Diana and Kathy will also be speaking at the upcoming annual meeting of the Arc of North Carolina at the end of September. www.dianaandkathy.com
